15 Minutes

A Film Review by Paul Perkins

*****

One Hell of a Good Movie

.

Every struggling actor or actress is trying to get there 15 minutes of fame. 15 Minutes revolves around a double murder in New York City. Two outsiders Emil Slovak (Karel Roden) and Razgal ( Oleg Taktarov) comes to American. To make a movie and get their 15 Minutes of fame but their movie are very violent because they kill people while they film it.

With the body count rising in New York two detectives, a very poplar cop who is always on TV Eddie Flemming (Robert De Niro) and a Fire arson detective Jordy Warsaw (Edward Burns). Who teams up to find the two before more citizens’ die?

But the media is not helping the cop Esp. Robert Hawkins (Kelsey Grammer) who what the in exclusive rights to the tape the two killers made. This is a thriller as seen through an eye popping new lens-that of the media is hunt for shocking imagery, no matter the cost.

Well 15 Minutes was one hell of a good movie. Let me tell you what I like and dislike about the film.

Good

  1. The story was very interesting and very good it held my attention from start to end.
  2. The cast was very good. Robert Deniro was very good this is second good film in a row for him (15 Minutes and Meet The Parents). Edward Burns was also very good.
  3. The plot twists were very good. The way the director shows each of the characters was very good.
  4. Some of the scenes were very good you couldn’t believe it happen but it did.
  5. The film was so intense it keeps me on the edge of my seat from the start to the finish.
  6. If I could describe the last 15 minutes of the film in one word it would be WOW.

Bad

  1. The first 15 mins was a little slow and confused me a little but they it picks up full speed.

Overall 15 Minutest was the most intense film of 2001 It is also one of the best films of the year so far. Just like Hannibal made you sick to you stomach, 15 Minutest will keep you on the edge of the seat and when the end credits start to role you will feel like you just ran a 100k race. Go see this outstand movie
