Not just about Men and Women in Tights
In
this society the way you look or how much money you have will effect how people
will treat you. Nowadays a lot of young women are killing themselves in order to
be perfectly trimmed. A lot of women are trying to become different in stead of
being themselves and the world make them be something else instead of letting
them do what they do best. In the past we have seen some great dance movies
Fame, Flashdance, Dirty Dancing.. One of the biggest entertainments beside movie
is The Theater, which consent of Plays, Musicals, Opera and Ballets.
We
have seen a lot of films that show how people become what they were train to do
and the up and downs of it. They say ballet is a girl show or a sissy sport it
is not and if you asked anyone who is becoming one they will also tell you no.
It a hard thing to do as in this movie Center Stage which is a drama with heart
and energy that follows the hopes and dreams of a tight knit group of young
dance students as they try to make a name for themselves and become stars in the
fiercely Competitive world of Professional Dance.
Center
Stage introduces a talented ensample of young performers. The Cast includes.
Amanda Schull (Jody Sawyer) who is the main stars of the film and is new to film
and does a great job she steel the show. Zoe Saldana (Eva) who was great as Eva
who is a talented dance but she has a attitude everything. Ethan Stiefel
(Cooper) who is the superstar in the ballet world. Did a great job of acting his
part but he is already famous he has been hailed as the most advanced male
dancer in the world. Also there are Debra Monk (Nancy), Susan May Pratt
(Maureen), Peter Gallagher (Jonathan Reeves) and Donna Murphy ( Julette).
What makes Center Stage different from the rest is they mostly use all real stars in the world of ballet and it shows in the film. I have never seen ballet before but after seeing Center Stage I want to go the director did a fine job of showing us the good and bad of being one of the best ballet dancers in the world.
This is a great movie it will touch your heart and make you go for your dreams don’t miss it.

The talented young cast of Center Stage strikes a pose: (From left to

Radetsky ("Charlie"), Amanda Schull ("Jody"), Ethan Stiefel
("Cooper"), Shakiem Evans ("Erik") and Susan May Pratt
