Chilling, Creepy And Was Worth The Wait
.
Ten years ago a film played in theaters that scary a lot of people and it had a catch phase that became a classic. “I ate his liver with some fava beans” that film that swept the Oscar in 91 was Silence of the Lambs that was then this is now. Hannibal is the new film, from director Ridley Scott who made my number one film of 2000 Gladiator.
Hannibal is set ten years later just like the Novel
by Thomas Harris. Dr Hannibal Lecter (Anthony Hopkins) escapes for custody ten
years ago and is on the run in Italy. Back in the US Clarice Starling (Julianne
Moore) is having problems not forgetting the Dr. and because of a villain she is
having problems with her bosses Esp. by Paul Krendler (Ray Liotta) who doesn’t
like Clarice Starling.
A lot of people have not forgotten Dr Lecter esp. one of
his victim Mason Verger (uncredited Gary Oldman) who survive the Dr. But is
hideously disfigured and vow to find the Dr. He uses his power to exact his
revenge on the Dr. He think in order the draw Lector out of the open he must use
a bait that means a lot to him. You guess it Clarice Starling so the cat and
mouse chase is on through the street of Italy and US and Hannibal is hungry for
some action and his lunch.
Well one of the most talk about film of 2001 is out and let
me tell you I was so eager to see this film and now after seeing the film let me
tell you some good and bad points about the Hannibal.
Good
Bad
Overall Hannibal was a very good movie and I was not disappointed by the film at all it was worth the wait. Everyone who is a movie buff and who is not should go see this film but heed warning do not get before seeing this film.
