The Music Will Make You Dance
.
Well it Easter time when the kids are out of school and all
the candy they can eat. Well it also time for the films spring film to hit the
screen, this year it the season of the comic book to the big screen well his is
the first. Josie and The Pussycats. For anyone living in the Stone Age
and doesn’t know who they are. They was a very popular cartoon in the 70’s
that was the 70’s it now the 21 Century things has change.
For Josie
(Rachael Lee Cook), Melody (Tara Reid) and Val (Rosario Dawson) they all are
life long friends who live in Riverdale and all have one thing in common they
love music. They have a band called The Pussycats they play in small locations
hoping to strike it big with a record contract.
Just like any other great bands or even actor it all up to
fate it gives them just want they needs and there life is about to change.
Because they are discover by a Hotshot manger Wyatt Frame (Alan Cumming) who
presents them to mega Records Ceo Fiona (Parker Posey) as the next best thing.
Thus they are now called Josie and The Pussycats and they are a hit but
being a hit is not all what it cracked up to be. As the girls find out there is
something sneaky going on and must find out what.
Well I have seen the movie what can I say about it. Well when you make a movie base on a popular comic book it is very hard. Because of the style of the world in the 70’s is different fort he style of 21 Century. To make a good movie base on a book you have to have some key things.
Well you are thinking does Josie and The Pussycats has them mostly yes. Of course be a critic I can always find flaws more on that later.
Here are the bad things about the film.
Overall Josie and The Pussycats was what I though it would be it was not that bad but not great. But where it is market to the young girls they will like it more than the guys. Get ready to rock because the music will make you get up and dance.
