We all could remember our first love how about if you first love like the same thing you do in this movie it’s Love & Basketball from producers Spike Lee and Sam Kitt comes a love story told in four quarters. Love and Basketball follows Monica Wright (Sanaa Lathan) and Quincy McCall (Omar Epps), childhood adversaries and talented athletes who have a love for the game of basketball and each other. Each pursues their dream of basketball success through high school, college and the pros, but along the way they must face their own personal hurdles.

Written and directed by first time feature filmmaker Gina Prince-Bythewood, Love and Basketball also stars Alfre Woodard, Dennis Haysbert, Debbi Morgan, and Kyla Pratt. Andrew Z. Davis serves as executive producer. A lot of April films are from first time directors and all of them are good this film was great the cast was outstanding being a child is the best part of our life it ‘s when we find what we want to be when we grow up and start talking to girls for Quincy basketball was a big part of his life his dad was a basketball player for the L.A Clippers and then he gets new neighbors and while he and his playing some b-ball he meets Monica who could also play b-ball better then any guys and they play b-ball for the first time and then start to become friends and then boyfriend and girlfriend and the passion for the game gets bigger for them and then the ups and downs in their relationship.

They was so great together the had some much chemistry in a lot of love movie there are no chemistry between the main characters not in Love & Basketball they had so much the director took this film the Ball Court the lovers Court and so how something we do thing that is not right to make a dream happen and then realized that it was the biggest mistakes you could have done because real love it hard to come by and never throw it away.

Gina Prince-Bythewood did an outstanding job on this screenplay I don’t like basketball that much but this film have every a great film has a good story and outstanding cast and a great soundtrack. April is the month for romance if you have someone go see this movie with him or her if you don’t go see it anyway This is one great emotional and fulfilling movies go see it.
