One of the biggest fears of any couple that is getting married is meeting the in-laws. I know when I got married (which I am not as of now) I had to meet my future mother in-law (god rest her soul) it was a nightmare. And when I met her sister from L.A it was an even bigger nightmare.

Meet The Parents is the new film from director Jay Roach (Austin Powers 1 & 2). Greg Focker (yes you read the name right) (Ben Stiller) is deeply in love with his girlfriend Pam (Teri Polo). He is about to pop the big question. But before he can ask, Pam's sister is getting married. So he has to go with Pam to meet her parents. They are Jack Byrnes (Robert Deniro) and Dina (Blythe Danner). But when he's introduced to her parents, he realizes that it's one strange family. He is in for one crazy weekend which he'll never forget because everything that could possibly go wrong does.

Jay Roach is becoming a good comedy director. He's going to have another hit with Meet The Parents. Hands down, this is the funniest film of the year. It receives the highest rating: 5 stars. Everything in this film I liked. Here a list of them. The story was very good, funny and believable. Everyone who has ever gotten married or is about to can relate to the film. The cast was very good and everyone was very funny.

Robert Deniro is about to get a hit again. His last film was Flawless. Meet The Parents shows us how an good actor he is. Ben Stiller proves again that he's a very funny comedic actor, previously proved in There's Something About Mary. The supporting cast was also very good. Everyone played their part well. Mr. Jinxes (The Cat) had one of the funniest parts in the film. The story was very believable. It's not one of those hollow movies you can't relate to.

There were no bad parts in Meet The Parents. I think the film was perfect. I couldn't think of anything that should have been changed in the film. Also, keep an eye out for a cameo appearance by Spencer Breslin, the kid from Disney's The Kid.

Overall, Meet The Parents was "hands down the funniest film of the year." It will make my top ten list for the year. You will laugh from the start to the finish. You're sure to get your money's worth with this film. Go see it and get ready for a laugh fest.
