So-So

No Matter what happens to a human being. For example if you were born with out a limb or you are born deaf or your body cannot fight off germs so you live in a bubble. No matter what you cannot put the human spirit down. You can be what ever you want to be.

As is this new coming of age comedy called Bubble Boy.

For Jimmy Livingston (Jake Gyllenhaul) growing up is hard to do because he is not like any other normal kid. He lives in a bubble since birth and has not did things that other kids have done. But when he see the girl next door Chloe (Marley Shelton) he realized he is in love with her. The only problem is she about to get married in Niagara Falls.

So he must stop her but how you may ask yourself. So he construct a bubble suit so he can go after her and try to stop the wedding. But it going to be a long way. He meets some funny characters along the way to find his true love.

When I saw the trailer for Bubble Boy I though the film look so stupid and bad. Now after seeing it. It is not bad as I though it would be let me tell you why.

Good

The idea of the film was good. Even so you have seen a lot of road tips film lately.
The supporting stories were very funny. Esp. the cult group and the over protective mother was funny.
When they said a certain word you would hear a beep. That was funny.
Dr Phreak (Mini Me) was very funny in the film.

Bad

There is a scene with a dead animal that was very gross and not good for kids to see.
There was a lot of sexual humor. Not good for kids to see
Couple of scenes was kind of stupid.

Overall Bubble Boy was better than I expected but it is not good either. If you take this film too seriously you will not like it. Wait for it to come on video and see for your self.
