Plot: Based on the novel by Thomas Harris and sequel to the 1991 Oscar-winning thriller "The Silence of the Lambs". Years ago the brilliant yet psychotic Dr. Hannibal 'The Cannibal' Lecter helped young FBI agent Clarice Starling track down and apprehend a dangerous serial killer, and in the process managed to escape custody and leave the country.

Audio: The audio quality is very good. I was surprise that is had the DTS 5.1 format on the disc. When lots of the bone chilling scene happen you feel it with all  5 speakers. They also put the Dolby Digital 5.1 sound on the disc in English, French, Spanish.

Video: The video Quality is very good. And this is the second thing good on the disc there were no flaws i could see. The film is presented in Anamorphic Widescreen 1.85:1.

Menus: The Menus are interactive and feature the Dr himself. every menu option is easy to navigate.

DVD Cover & Reviews: The cover has the poster look with the face of Hannibal. the inside sleeve feature the face of the Dr as well couple of paragraph explaining what the film means to the director. The dvd itself has picture of Italy on the two disc.

Special Features: There is a lot of stuff on the two disc.   First there is the teaser trailer and the full trailer which are good. There is 15 TV Spots that last about 10 mins. Second there is a poster gallery of some of the poster designed that did not make the cut some of them are very cool. Third is the documentary on making the film it last about 75 mins and it has a lot of stuff in it. It is very good Documentary. Fourth there is about 14 deleted scenes which last over 30 mins which includes a different ending. Most of the deleted scenes are very good. But the different ending is pretty stupid. Fourth There is a 3 Multiple angels vignettes which are pretty cool but after a while they get boring. Fifth there is the marketing gallery which feature the teaser trailer and full trailer and over 15 TV Spots which is good. Sixth is The poster concepts section which feature 56 different poster they though of a lot of them are very good they should have use some of them. Seventh is 556 photos yes you heard me right 566 Photos it took me so long to go through them. last but not least is the cast and crew bios and production notes.

Overall: I Am one of the few critic that really like Hannibal, I though the film was real good. It on my top ten list so far this year. And now with the DVD release you my be asking your self is it any good. The DVD is Great you get a lot for you money there is a ton to look at on the disc. You will not be disappointed you should add this to your collection.
