Twice The Action, Twice The Laughs Twice The Fun

There have been many great comedy and action teams like David Spade, Chris Farley and Danny Glover, Mel Gibson. They were the past and the new comedy action team is Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan. Who in 1998 they made a hit movie called Rush Hour and it was a box office success and made the two stars a hit and it was a real funny action pack movie.

You know when a film is a hit you can always expect a sequel. Well guess what as the tagline says get ready for a second rush. Because the team is back in Rush Hour 2, the film start off kind of where the last one left ended. James Carter (Chris Tucker) and Inspector Lee (Jackie Chan) have just arrived in Hong Kong for a vacation.

Of course Carter has his Chinese-English dictionary. He is happy to be on vacation and in Hong Kong and he is hoping to sample some of the many Exotic delights. But Lee who never takes a vacation and is always dedicated to his job has other things on his mind. They get theirs biggest case of their careers, a bomb exploded in the American embassy killing two U.S customs agents who were investigating a money smuggling ring. That is producing super bills so the two must work together and find the crooks before it too late as it going to be one hell of a rush hour.

Sequels are usually a given, most of them all not as good as the first sometimes they are very bad. But no matter what people are saying about the films for the year of 2001. My opinion is it has been a great year for sequels With Jurassic Park 3, Dr Dolittle 2 and Scary Movie 2 behind us and they were great films and now here comes another one Rush Hour 2 was a kick but action comedy I feel it was better than the first. Here are some good and bad points about the film.

Good

The story was very good. It ‘s was not an original type of story but it hold my interest from start to finish.
The film was funnier then the first.
The jokes were not stupid or drag out with the same types of jokes.
The cast out did there self. Esp. Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker. They are the perfect team together. One has the jokes the other kicks butt.
The film did not drag at all.
The soundtrack was banging it had a lot of rap and r&b in the soundtrack.
The outtakes were so funny.
The supporting cast were very good and work great together. Zhang ZiYi did a great job and also kicks some major butt.
The locations were great. They had some nice shots of Las Vegas and Hong Kong.

Bad

There were no bad things I could see in the film.

Overall Rush Hour 2 it has everything a good movie post to have in it good story, great cast, great action and laughs. This is how Sequels should be this is one film you don’t want to miss. Get ready for a second Rush.
