Merciless, More Shameless, More Laughs But Not Better Than The First.
When you make a horror or any kind
of film you are asking some one to make fun of it. And guess what on of the king
of making fun of film is Keenen Ivory Wayans his last film made fun of a lot of
Scary Movies and guess what the title was called Scary Movie and it took the box
office by a storm grossing over 140 millions dollars.
So of course when Hollywood have a
hit on there hands they have to milk it as much as possible. The next one up is
called Scary Movie 2
and it centers on 5 of the returning cast and some new ones added to the bunch.
The gang spends the weekend at a haunted house like the film that came out a
while ago called The Haunting. Along the way they get attack by a sprit that has
a mind of it own. One by one they have to go up against their biggest fears as
it going to be a long weekend they will never forget and you will not forget it
as well.
Scary Movie 2
is out and it was very funny I don’t think it was better than the first one.
Let me tell what I like and dislike about the film.
Good
When
you make a film like this you cannot rating it on the story because the
story is a mixture of a dozen other stories put together for laughs? How you
rating the film is by the acting and laughs.
The
film was very funny as much funny as the first one. But the first one had a
little better skit.
They
made fun of a dozen movies, stars, games shows etc. There was Hannibal, What

The
acting was pretty good but it hard to judge them in this type of film.
The
music was very good. They had some R&B and Rap.
The
opening scene was so hilarious I couldn’t stop laughing.
Keenen
Ivory Wayans is a good director he make these type of film great.
There
is tone of cameos that were all funny. One of them is James Woods he had one
of the funniest scenes.
Bad
The
film was too short. The first film was about 95 mins this one was 75 mins.
They could have made it a little longer.
Couple
of the scenes you could tell they edit them to get the R rated.
Couple
of the scene they copied off the first one. They shouldn’t have put them
in the new one.
Rating:
The
film got the R rating for a lot of curse words, Body Fluids, Drug use and
Violence This film is not for kids..
Overall I though Scary
Movie 2 was a very funny movie can I say it better
than the first one? No but it was still a good comedy and it worth the price of
admission.
