The Adventure Begins On The Big Screen
Over the years there have been many video games I use to
love to play. There is Super Mario Bros, Mortal Kombat, Double
Dragon and Tomb Raider. Like anything else if it a popular game
Hollywood wants to capitalize on the success of the game and make a movie base
on it. Well the First and Third one I mention were lousy movies, the second one
was very good.
That leaves one Tomb Raider and guess what it just
came out at the movie theaters and if you have been living under a rock for the
past decade. Tomb Raider is one of the best selling game of all time and now
Hollywood is hoping it will be one of the best movie of the summer. The story
centers on Lara Croft (Angelina Jolie) adventure that travels the globe in
search of rare items and lost empires and risk her life in the process.
But she is having dreams of her dead father (Played by Real
life father John Voight) telling her about a clock that reverse time. Being the
adventure that she is she goes out to find the clock and the two halves of an
ancient artifact that who possesses it give them the ultimate power. The fate of
mankind rest in the hand of Lara Croft.
Well the most talked about film of the summer is out and I
have to say I like it but I was a little disappointed let me tell you why.
Good
Bad
Overall Tomb Raider had some good action parts in the film. I am a big fan of the video game and I couldn’t wait to see this film. For all the fans of the game you may think the film is good. If you do not know anything about the film you may say this film is ok. But one thing is for certain it is summer time; grab your big bucket of popcorn and checks out this film and sees for yourself.
