Ballistic: Ecks Vs Sever

A Very Predictable Film
A great action film has a couple of thing in it a
good story, with a great cast, the film is fun and even so some of the action
scenes may look fake it is still a great action film. There have been a couple
of good action films over the years. Like The Matrix and the upcoming The
Transporter. That kept you eyes pined to the screen.
Then there are bad action film that fall below on the scale
and this new film called Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever that is falling down
the list very fast. Ballistic is about a top-secret new weapon that hides in the
body undetected and when triggered kills the person in an instant.
And it is on the loose and only two individuals’ sworn
enemies have the skills and tenacity to succeed. One is called Sever (Lucy Liu)
who is a perfect weapon and the other is a former FBI man-hunter Ecks (Antonio
Banderas). This is a fierce competition for a deadly prize and there can only be
one winner.
Walking into Ballistic I had mix thoughts about this film.
Will it be a good action film or a bad one? Now after seeing it I can say one
thing it is bad and it does not make for a good action film. The main problem of
the film is the story it was so predictable you knew what was going to happen
next and why.
When one of the main story about Ecks came into play right
there you knew what the ending was going to be like. The action was ok some of
the scene were ok but it was so unbelievable. The only thing made it watch able
was Lucy Liu she looks good in this film and she kicked major butt in this film.
The only thing good about this film was that it was very short thanks god if it
was longer it would be a nightmare to watch more then it already is.
