A Classic Film That Should Be Seen Over And Over Again
Throughout you lifetime there are things you will never
forget, people or places you went to that though you heart and never let you go.
Movies you have seen that over time still gives you the same feeling you had
when you saw it for the first time. Well here is a film that does just that it
called E.T (The Extra Terrestrial) and it is 20 years old.
This is the anniversary release. Here is a little bit about
the story for anyone who has not heard of the film. The story is about a young
boy Elliott (Henry Thomas) who is your avenge boy who gets pick on by his older
brother and his friends. When the group orders pizza Elliott goes outside to
pick up the pizza and comes across something that is not human, not from this
planet.
Elliott and ET develop a friendship that makes Elliott help
E.T to find a way home. The two set out to find a way to get E.T home without
getting caught by scientists and governments agents which want to do testing on
him. This will be an adventure greater than anything either of then could have
imagined.
I remember when I was 9 years old and my mother took me too
the movies to seen a film about a young boy and a alien. I didn’t know too
much about it but when I left the theater I love the movie. I had tears in my
eyes. Well can I say after 20 years later does the 20th anniversary
edition do the same to me now?
Yes oh yes E.T is a film that everyone can love and
like it a film that you feel for the characters and the story. You can get into
and kind of believe in even so you know it is not real. There is everything in
this film that makes it a classic.
The story is outstanding with new edition you get some new
scenes that brings more stuff into this great film. Being that this film is 20
years old you get a better sound quality with this new release than the older
version. Because the technology is better in the sound area than film had back
then.
Second to make a film a classic you need a good cast. E.T
has a great cast most of the cast E.T was their first film and the cast
interacted with each other great in the film you feel for the characters.
Finally you need a great story well this film has it everyone who see it will
fall in love with E.T trust me.
