Tuck Everlasting

A Film Review By Paul Perkins         (Film Info Click Here)

A Great Film For All Ages

What if you could live-forever would you choice it? You would live until the world turns no more. If it happens that would be the biggest decision of your life.

Tuck Everlasting ask that question. The film is base on the magical award-winning book by Natalie Babbity. The film is about a young girl Winnie Foster (Alexis Blegel) who longs for a life outside from her controlling domineering mother (Amy Irving).

She comes across a magical tree that is guarded by a special family The Tuck family who is Jessie (Jonathon Jackson), Miles (Scott Bairstow), Mae (Sissy Spacek) and Angus (William hurt). They hold a very special secret a secret that been around for generations and they will stop at nothing to keep the secret from coming out. As it going to be the biggest decision that Winnie will ever have to make.

Tuck Everlasting was a tearjerker because of some of the themes. But it was an outstanding movie, this s a film that everyone will like young and old and the show that some decision are very hard to make and will effect you for the rest of your life. The trailer shows the film in a good light and does not show too much about the film.

The story and the feel; of the movie was great by the time the film was over I wish it was not it was just that good. The film held my attention from start to finish and the film did not drag at all. The acting was very good Esp. by newcomer Alexis Blegel show was very good in her first role. Let see how she does in her other film. The rest of the film was great.

Overall if you are looking for a film that will make you tear for some of the people then this is the film for you remember to be some tissue you will need it.
