Get Ready For A Blood Bath
Revenge is a sin but sometimes revenge is the only way to be free and to solve your problems. This movie centers on one lady revenge on the ones who try to kill her. Before I tell you about this movie I have to tell you three warning.
1. If you get sick by the sight of blood.
2. Hate that the film is in two parts.
3. Blood, Blood and More Blood.
Then Kill Bill Vol. 1 is not for you. But if you are they get ready for a blood bath.
Uma Thurman is a former assassin betrayed by her boss, Bill. Four years after surviving a bullet in the head, the bride emerges from a coma and swears revenge on her former master and his deadly squad of international assassins, played by Lucy Liu, Daryl Hannah, Vivica A. Fox and Michael Madsen.
Revenge movies have all ways been one of my favorite type of movie next to comedy and sometimes horror movie. Because I always like to see some one who get pick on or got treated bad get revenge on the ones who did.
Kill Bill is the 4th film from Quentin Tarantino who has brung us some great film like Pulp Friction and Reservoir Dogs. It has been 9 years since his last film and he is the type of director who only does the types of film he likes and has a unique way of directing.
Kill Bill is a non stop action movie with a lot of sword fights I do mean a lot of sword fights. The story is good, the topic has been done before, but what makes it unique is that the person who is doing the revenge is a woman which is different from your standard revenge types of movies.
The sword fight’s scenes were very intense and very good, and were not too long at all. What was kind of big surprise is how much blood was shown during those screens, I knew it was going to be bloody but I did think it would be that bloody. The acting was very good esp by Uma Thurman we know she is a good actor but she played this part very good and had the look of a person that out for blood and won’t stop until she gets it. In the action she held her own and was very good in the fight screens.
The supporting cast was very good in their roles as well. The score of this film was outstanding you know when some of the music comes on you know it about to be thrown down and a big screen is coming up. Anybody who like movie scores you don’t want to pass this soundtrack up.
For any Quentin fans out there you will not be disappointed from Kill Bill it will have everything you expect for a Quentin movie. If you are not a fan check out all his older films and then check out Kill Bill, you will become a fan after seeing these films.
