Ahoy Mate! Climb Aboard!
Yes, climb aboard The Black Pearl, a wonderful eerie ghost ship whose captain is Jack Sparrow (Played by the very talented Johnny Depp). Sparrow’s ship is stolen by his nemesis, captain Barbossa (Amply played by Geoffrey Rush). Barbossa also attacks the town of Prot Royal, kidnapping the Governors daughter (Keira Knightley, of Bend it Like Beckham).
Like all good pirates movies, there is a treasure. This one is a cursed treasure that has doomed Barbossa and his crew into the undead. The moonlight eerily transforming them into living skeletons.
The effects are astounding. There is a great battle between the skeletons and the British navy. The film takes its title from the Disney ride. The film, Directed by Gore Verbinski (The Ring, Mousehunt) is a great rousing piece of work.
I find it to be one of the best films of the year! It was produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, who is know for great action film.
