This Is An Action Pack Rollercoaster Ride
We all live in this world we call earth, Everyday some one is fighting someone else to control part of it. But image that the world is about to be destroyed not by man but by Mother Nature; we all know that the world is a sphere and it always spinning. But image if the earth stop spinning what would happen to us all.
The Core asks that question and delivers us the answer in astonishing detail. All of a sudden the earth core has stop rotating, causing the planet’s electromagnetic field to rapidly deteriorate. Because of this everyone life is at stake.
Trying to figure out how to stop this devastating thing, government and military officials call upon geophysicist Dr Josh Keyes (Aaron Eckhart) an a team of the world’s most gifted scientist to travel into the earth’s core in a subterranean craft piloted by “terranauts” Major Rebecca “Beck” Childs (Hilary Swank and Commander Robert Iverson (Bruce Greenwood). Their mission is to: Detonate a nuclear device that will reactivate the core and save the world from sure destruction.
This march there was two films that I was dieing to see one was Dreamcatcher and you all know how much I hated that film and the other film was The Core. Well like they say the second time the charm, well The Core was a great action pack movie where it will hold you on the edge on your seat until the end credits.
The story was very good it will remind you of the film Armageddon because of the subject matter but Armageddon is mostly a special effects film. The Core has some outstanding special effects but it has more it has a story and also it had good characters and you feel for the charters and what the character to survive.
The acting was very good and made the film even better to watch. All the cast was the perfect pick for their roles, there is also couple of funny one-liners which makes the film a little bit more believable, this is a film that beside the great story and acting you can get into the film and not keep you eyes off of it.
Overall this is a good week for film, Head of State was a very funny film, and The Core was a great action/special effects film.
