A Film Review By Paul Perkins         (Film Info Click Here)

A Very Powerful Film With A Ending You Will  Never Forget

There comes a time when you watch a film and it grabs you and it emerge you into the story and does not let you go, and when it is finish you will be talking about it for a long time to come. Also when a film has an issues that a lot of people care about and protest about you know you are in for a film not to be forgotten.

Well The Life of David Gale is that film and a whole lot more, the film centers on David Gale (Kevin Spacey) and his friend Constance Jones (Laura Linney) are death row advocates and they will fight congress for there views and will fright for the people on death row to try and stop their execution.

But when Constance Jones is found dead in her kitchen the cop arrest David Gale and charge him with murder. The Court convicted him and sentences him to death, but David clams he is not guilty. His Lawyer hires reporter Bitsey Bloom (Kate Winslet) to uncover the truth the problem is she has only 4 days to uncover the truth before he is put to death as it going to be 4 days she would never forget.

The Life of David Gale was one powerful motion picture, when I seen the trailer for the first time I thought it would be an ok picture, a film that will have you debating about the death penalty. But after seeing the film I never thought it would be this good.

If you are for it or against the death penalty this film will have you think about it like never before. The story was very good it remind me of one of the court TV murder case, crime solving shows. This so will make you want justice to be served and you will fell for the characters of the film. The acting is all top notches and an Oscar winning performance by Kate Winslet who did excellent in her role as the reporter who wont quit until David is free.

Kevin Spacey did and outstanding job as well with this type of role he made get an Oscar nomination as well because of the fell and depth he had in this role. This film was not slow and boring at all this film will grab you and not let you go and the last 20 mins of the film is the most powerful 20 mins I have seen in a film in a long time and like I said before you will be talking about it for a long time to come. Trust Me I still can’t forget about it.

The Life of David Gale is a very powerful film that should not be miss and it worth every penny of the admission price and should not be miss check out this great film today.
