Under The Tuscan Sun

A Film Review By Clyde Ayles        (Film Info Click Here)

Bright And Sunny

What can I say about Diane Lane? She could read the phone book, and I would got to see it. And when you put her in a nice, sweet movie like " Under The Tuscan Sun" The pleasure is doubled.

She plays Frances Mayes, a recently divorced writer from San Francisco. On the urge of her friend Patti (Sandra Oh) she takes off on a ten day trip to Italy. Once there, she buys a rundown villa in hopes of starting a brand new life.

In doing so, she bonds with the people around her, while discovering laughter and romance all over again. and we discover a wonderful, delightful movie.

People will call this a chick flick. I hate labels. A good movie is a good movie. and this is a good movie.
