For some people playing it safe it all there are know for doing like easting the right food so they don’t get fat, not smoking so they won’t mess up there lungs. The is a story about one soul who don’t take risk and know what percent will happen when you do certain things.
For Reuben Feffer (Ben Stiller) he has the perfect life he has the perfect job as a risk assessor for a leading insurance firm. He is a expert on minimizing danger nothing ventured, nothing lost.
He has the perfect wife so he thinks on there special day he finds out his wife is not the right girl for him and his life begins to come apart. So he decides to take the big chance in his whole life when in a chance meeting he meets one of his former classmates Polly Prince (Jennifer Aniston) who makes him thinks a lot about her.
So he takes a chance which in his line of work he would never think about doing as he called Polly up and goes on a date. He falls for her bad and maybe because he is dating Polly may be the answer to getting his life back on track.
Well this is a new year as well as a new film year. January is not the best month for films but every once in a while a good film comes out this month. Last week it was My Baby’s Daddy and this week it is Along Came Polly.
Well this was one funny movie and it the funniest of the New Year. Going into this movie I had mix thoughts about this film. The trailer made me think it was either going to be a chick flick or a film that been done so many times before? But being a film critic you hope to be wrong and I was totally wrong about this film this was a very funny and kind of heartwarming film.
The story was very good and don’t let it fool you this is Not a chick flick everyone will like this film trust me. The acting was very good and the chemistry between Ben and Jen was outstanding you feel for them and wish the best for them in their relationship. Jennifer I thought was the perfect actress for this role in some screens she may be annoying but it annoying like a friend does to you and you can deal with it with out going crazy.
There was a lot of funny screen that will make you stomach hurt so bad, I could not stop laughing. The laughs do not drag out and repeat themselves. This film does not get boring at all and it had the right length for the film.
Overall this was one funny and heartwarming film and should not be miss check out this film if you value a good film you will get you money worth.
