Great Story and Some Of The Best Special Effects Seen In Film
This has been a great summer of movies with a lot of the big Hollywood films that was release over the past couple months, There has been Shrek 2, Harry Potter 3, The Day after Tomorrow and Van Helsing. It is now middle of July and there is not a lot of big Hollywood films left to come out.
But don’t count out summer yet this week new film called I Robot brings back the box office and Independence Day king name Will Smith who has a great run of films at the box office. Like Bad Boys series, Men in Black series and one film I thought he should won an Oscar for called Ali and had done many other films as well.
Well I Robot is about a Detective name Del Spooner (Will Smith) who is a cop in the year 2035 where Robots does everything for humans and are trusted by everyone around them except Spooner who don’t trust them. When the founder of the Robots is found dead there is only one witness a Robot name Sonny.
Sonny is a special Robot who holds the key to the murder and perhaps the survival of the human race. Spooner must find out the truth as well as keeping hearing the three laws that the Robot has which are 1. A Robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm. 2. A Robot must obey orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law. 3 A Robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.
I Robot is the type of film that beside the great story and the great acting you can just watch the great special effects and it make a story all by itself. The story itself was very cool and makes you think will the future look like the movie and will Robot control everything we do. The idea of the film was great and the Director who made another good film called The Crow did an outstanding job of showing us the future and how the robots and the human to interacted with each other. Sonny who is the main part of the film was a great actor who is a robot but acts like a human good in some of the more human screen with emotions.
The acting was very good as the two main stars work great together Will Smith did an great job as Spooner and he shows us why he is a great actor and no matter what type of film he is in he makes it a great film to watch. Bridget Moynahan did a great job as well as the doctor of the robots and who thinks the robots are not bad.
The second main thing when watching this type of film is the special effects and let me tell you this had some of the best special effects that came out in the theaters since minority report. And when it times for the Oscar this film should get one for special effects they are just that good. The way the details of the Robots and the building as well and some of the background are outstanding.
Overall I Robot is another great film that came out this summer and everyone should check it out in the theaters today. And get ready for the ride of you life.
