Non Stop Laughs
Meeting your wife or husband family is the most painful thing you can go trough more painful than having root canal work done trust me. No one likes there in laws even if they say they do one point in their life they did not. Meet the Fockers is about one family meeting the others family.
For Gaylord aka Greg Focker (Ben Stiller) we met him 4 years ago he was trying to ask his girlfriend Pam (Teri Polo) her hand in Marriage but before he can do that he had to meet her parents but the weekend was a disaster the airline lost his luggage, he set the backyard on fire, he lost the cat, made the biggest served in water volleyball history and last but not least he went to a lie detector test by Pam father Jack Byrnes (Robert De Niro). Just to enter Byrnes family circle of Trust.
In Meet the Fockers Greg has enter the circle of trust and Him and Pam are about to walk down the long never ending isle of Marriage he has do to one little thing which is the biggest thing he has to do in his life he has to let the in-laws meet for the very first time so Greg, Pam and her parents take a trip down to Focker isle when they will meet Bernie and Roz Focker (Dustin Hoffman and Barbara Streisand). And in the next 48 Hours Jack can study Greg parents as this will be the longest 48 hours that Greg will never forget.
Well when Meet the Parents came out in 2000 it was a box office hit and it was one funniest movie of the year the film it had a great cast with a great story that anyone who every was in a relationship can related to so when it became a hit you knew there would be a squeal and of course being this type of film it kind of right to make a sequel.
And now we have Meet the Fockers and let me tell you this is one funny film. This is one sequel that is just as good as the first one which is a great task. The acting was very good and it brings back all the cast from the first one except the sister who got married in the first one. The story was very good and kept inline with the first film and never got boring or too long. There are very funny one-liners and some very funny moments where you will fall of your seat laughing.
Which the end of the year approaching and a lot of films that are out this week this is a nice touch to end a great year at the movie. Also bring a pillow when you see this film because you are going to need it to cover you stomach because it going to hurt from laughing so hard.
