National Treasure

A Film Review By Paul Perkins         (Film Info Click Here)

This Is One Treasure You Want To Hunt For.

In The 80’s There was a little adventure film that came out that was a blockbuster hit it was call Indian Jones And The Raiders of the Lost Ark. It was a great film I remember seeing it in theater when I was a kid and now it has been over 20 years and now there is a film out in theaters that bring the magic that film had in the 80’s to the year 2004.

The film is called National Treasure which is about Benjamin Franklin Gates (Nicolas Cage) who has spent his whole life searching for a fortune few dare to believe exists. One of the treasures is called Knights Templar Treasure which is rumored to be the most awesome bounty in human history and hidden somewhere In America. For six generations, the gates family has chased after clues left behind by America’s Founding Fathers and scoured the nation in search of the treasure.

Now after many years he has a breakthrough clue hidden behind one of the nation oldest documents and not the chase has begun to find the biggest treasure the world has ever seen as it going to be a hunt unlike any hunt before.

Well when I watch the trailer for National Treasure I thought this look like an interesting topic for a film and then I thought it kind of reminds you of an Indian Jones film I thought I wish it does not copy totally from Indian films.

This is another Jerry Bruckheimer film and like last years Pirates of the Caribbean this is also one of his best films he has made. Most of the film he has done is very good as well as some of his TV Shows like C.S.I which btw I cannot stop watching I seen all 4 season in one week can not wait until season 5 comes out on DVD.

The story was very interesting I like the idea how each clue hidden within a special document. The like the different high tech gadgets and all the cloak and dagger like stuff they have to do to unlock the mysteries of the hidden treasure.

The acting was very good; this film had a good cast like Nicolas Cage, Jon Voight, Diane Kruger and Harvey Keitel who all was outstanding in their roles. This film was one hell of a good time it held my attention from start to finish and it did not drag all at.

I could not find anything wrong with this film. This is the kind of film you can go to the movie and expect to get you money worth and have a hell of a good time watching and when you leave the theater you will say this was money well spent.
