Starts The Summer Season With A Bang
It has begun? What that you may be asking yourself what has begun? It’s the start of the summer movie season. Where the studio brings out there big guns and starts to blast us with a ton of new movies.
With a ton of new movies like Shrek 2, Spider Man 2, The Day after Tomorrow, Troy and many, many others. Well when the first weekend of the month of May is up you know it has begun. Well it May 7 and the first one has be release it called Van Helsing and it has some of the classic horror monsters of the big screen Wolf man, Frankenstein and Dracula.
Well we all have jobs some of us likes our jobs some don’t For Gabriel Van Helsing (Hugh Jackman) he doesn’t like his job. His job or more a curse if you ask him he works for a secret organization who seek out and defeat evil around the world. He is given a title for his work: murderer.
Van Helsing roams the globe as a outcast, but when the organization dispatched him to the shadowy world of Transylvania, he should finds out that the land is still in the past and the land is rule over by evil like no other a undefeatable vampire, Count Dracula (Richard Roxburgh) and it Dracula that Van Helsing has been sent to terminate.
Van Helsing is what expects to see on the opening day of the summer season. There is a lot of action screens and a ton of special effects, Action movies a dime a dozen there is a lot of film that came out of the years. The Director who made Van Helsing also made the big hit The Mummy which is another film that had a lot of action and also open the same week in May and it made a ton of money.
Van Helsing story was pretty good it does blend a ton of classic movies into a new twist for the new century there is also a ton of action screens that keeps the action fans involved, the story was good but it was a tad bit too long and granted some of the surprise things that happen in the story is at the end of the film so you have to see it for yourself.
There is a ton of special the Director Stephen Sommers like to but a ton of special effects is all his film and in Van Helsing he doesn’t not disappoint. Some of the screens look very cool looking. The acting was pretty good by the two main stars of the film. And for the guys there is a little eye candy remember this is a pg-13 so it not a lot and remember three of them are vampires so I mean when they are in human form. Kate Beckinsale looks so great I could not stop watcher her in this film.
Overall Van Helsing was a good action movie it not going to win any awards but it starts off the summer movie season with a bang and like a amusement park ride it will make you hold on for you dear life and will not let you go until it is over. Get read for a ride.
