Fantastic Four

FANTASTIC MOVIE
So we have another Marvel comic made into a movie. And this one is a winner. I had never read a Fantastic Four comic book, but I knew pretty much what to expect. The story concerns four members of a science research team who go into outer space where a cosmic radiation alters their D.N.A. The group gains fantastic super powers. We have Reed Richards, Mr. Fantastic ( IOAN GRIOFFUDD, from "King Arthur) who now has the power to stretch and contort his body any way he wants to. There is Susan Storm (JESSICA ALBA from "Sin City")_ as invisible girl , self explanatory. Her brother Johnny Storm (CHRIS EVANS, ""Cellular") as the Human Torch who can fly and turn himself into a huge match anytime he wants to. Then there is Ben Grimm (MICNAEL CHIKLIS, TV’s The Shield) who turns into the thing, who looks like a big rock and has super strength. As the film progresses we see not only their super side, but their human side as well. we also meet Victor Von Doom (JULIAN McMAHON, t.v.s Nip/Tuck) who was also on the space flight who's skin turns into indestructible armor. He is our villain Dr. Doom. I'm sure that most of you who go to see this movie are Marvel comic fans. Well after seeing this film, I had to have a copy of the comic. There are some really great scenes in here that i know you will be talking about for quite a while. The bridge scene is one of the best I have seen in a long while. This winning film was directed by TIM STORY, "Barbershop", "Taxi". Mr. Story was there at the screening I attended and he talked about the making of the movie. I had to tell him what a great piece of work this was. DO NOT miss this film. SEE YA AT THE MOVIES CLYDE
