A Film Review By Clyde Ayles
POWERFUL DRAMA
I consider STEVEN SPIELBERG to be one of the finest directors of our time. Almost every film he brings to us holds our attention and leaves vivid images in our minds. Remember "Schindler's List", "The Color Purple", "E.T." and many, many others. Well, he has done it again. In 1972 there was a massive massacre at the Olympics. Coaches and athletes were slayed by Palestinian terrorists. After, a group of assasassins, led by ERIC BANA (outstanding performance) as a massad agent are sent by the Isreal goverment to hunt down and kill the people responsable for the horrible crime. In "Munich" Spielberg pulls no punches. He does not try to soften the impact. The film is spellbinding from beginning to end. He not only shows us the the revenge bombings and slayings in a totally true matter, but he also shows us the grim impact it can have on the friends and families of the revenge seekers. The camera work recaptures the gritty camera work of earlier thrillers, following every step of the people involved. "Munich" can be disturbing at times, but it is a film worth staying with. GEOFFREY RUSH, DANIEL CRAIG, and CIARAN HINDS head up a great supporting cast. SEE YA AT THE MOVIES CLYDE What Did You Think About The Film E-mail us Your Comments About The Film
