A Film Review By Clyde Ayles
UNEASY FLIGHT
Lisa Reisert really has a fear of flying. But she must travel home to her father after the death of her grandmother. So she takes a leave from her hotel job and catches a Red Eye flight. As fate would have it, or is it fate?, She meets a very charming man in the airport who becomes her seating companion. His name is Jackson (CILLIAN MURPHY, last seen as the villain in "Batman Begins") as the flight goes on, Jackson informs Lisa (RACHEL McADAMS, now to be seen in "Wedding Crashers") that he is the operative in a plot to kill a powerful businessman and she is the key to the plot's success. She must call her hotel and have the man's room changed so he will be in the target area. If she doesn't, a call from him will alert the man outside her father's house who will do his job and kill her father. Poor Lisa is trapped 30'000 feet in the air. What can she do to get help without putting the plane's crew and passengers in harm's way? Believe me; she tries many ways only to be stopped. As the film progresses, she manages to get free which leads to 85 minutes of action and edge of your seat stunts. Believe me; you will not want to leave your seat for a second. Ms McAdams is very convincing in her role. Mr. Murphy is so good, I would think twice before boarding a plane with him. This hit of the summer was directed by WES CRAVEN, "Nightmare on Elm Street" among others). He is a master of make your heart stop films. If you only see a few movies this year, do yourself a favor and include this one. You will not be sorry.SEE YA AT THE MOVIES CLYDE
