Starwars Episode 3

A Film Review By Paul Perkins

A Great Ending To A Great Trilogy

Remembering my childhood is easy I remember being very sickly with stomach problems. But the biggest thing I remember is going to the Eric Morristown Movie Theater to check out a little film that will take up the next 30 years of my life. It a little film called Star Wars a New Hope.

It was an outstanding film and it started a cult following it was the platform for all Sci-Fi movie to follow for the next 3 decades. Then a second one came out call Empire Strikes Back and Then Return of the Jedi.

So the story centers on a young Jedi fighter call Luke Skywalker who finds out the leader of the darkness name Dark Vader is his father and he must battle him to the end. The films were directed by George Lucas who became one of the biggest directors of his time. But he left something out of the film he did not tell the story of how Darth Vader became the evil person he is.

So in reverser order he made 3 other film The Phantom Menace which tells the story of a young Anakin Skywalker and then came Attack of the Clones which tells of a older Anakin who train the ways of the Jedi and the last film In the series which is now out called Revenge of the Sith.

This new film center on Anakin Skywalker who is a good Jedi but he is questing the ways of the Jedi and about to join forces of the dark side as Darth Vader is born into darkness. As the force will never be the same again.

Walking into Revenge of the Sith I had high expectations for the final film in the series and I sit down in my seat grab my big drink, hot dogs and pretzel bites. And get ready to watch my last 30 years flash In front of my eyes.

The Credits stars to roll and did the crown scream and clap and so did I. So I took a snip of my drink and begin to watch what will become one of the best of the series next to A New Hope.

This film had everything you expect from a star wars film a good story, good acting, good special effects, and the biggest thing how did Anakin become Darth Vader. I commend George Lucas because he could have dragged this film out and made it stupid and very long. But he did not he kept the story just the right length and tells exactly how Darth Vader become born and how his kids ties into the story.

The acting was outstanding esp. by Hayden Christensen who I feel was a outstanding Darth Vader he had the look the talk and feel of the character. People may say he was ok as Darth Vader but remember this Darth Vader in the last three older films Darth Vader was a machine not a human we did not know his past but in this new film we get to see him as a human and see how he becomes evil.

Overall I am going to end this review it getting too long. To all the          Star Wars fans like me out there in the internet You WILL like this film a lot and will say that the film was one of the best of the series next to A New Hope and that this was one hell of a fun ride for the past 30 years. And again to George Lucas Hats off job well done.
