The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy

A Film Review By Paul Perkins

This is one Ride You Don't Want to Miss

I am sorry I have to tell you this Earth is about to be destroyed please Don’t Panic. Just Kidding but in the new film The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy the Earth is destroyed.

The film begins with Arthur Dent (Martin Freeman) a typical guy having a very bad day, Arthur house is about to be bulldozed, his best friend turns out to be a alien and, to top things off, it appears that Planet Earth will be demolished in mere seconds to make way for a hyperspace freeway. Arthur only chance for survival: hitch a quick ride on a passing spacecraft, with the help of his best friend Ford Prefect (Mos Def) Jetting off into the complete unknown.

When you walk into a theater pay your 10 dollars sit down to get ready to watch the movie and the opening screen is funny you know you are in for a threat also if the film has a good story and a great cast. Then you hit the jackpot at the movie theaters. Well The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy is that film.

I had a fun time at the movie the last time a film was this fun it was the film called Pirates of the Caribbean. The story was outstanding it was a mixture of Star Wars mix in some of Star Trek mix in some Jim Henson puppets  and add a lot of Space balls and you got one hell of a funny movie. One of the funnies characters was The Robot that will remind you of R2D2 of the Stars wars film but this robot is clinical depress which is hystical he had some funny one liners Alan Rickman plays the voice of the robot. The rest of the cast was also good in their roles.

Overall I am going to keep this review short and sweet this is one funny film and if you are looking for a film to have a good time watching. This is the film for you.
