AN APPETIZER
This updated remake of the amusing 1968 film of the same name, starring Henry Fonda and Lucille Ball, is just the appetizer before seeing a great movie, like a salad before a big dinner. This time the stars are DENNIS QUAID,one of my favorite underrated actors, and RENE RUSSO as a couple with children, he has eight, she has ten, who get married and wind up in all the predictable situations. The kids from both sides start out as enemies who try to sabotage their parents marriage, but later come together to try to save it. The original film was the bases for The Brady Bunch TV. show. There's not much more to say about this film, you’ve seen it all before. But if you are in the mood for a light little comedy, then see this movie. The kids are cute and there are some funny funny scenes. SEE YA AT THE MOVIES CLYDE
