ATL
A Film Review By Paul

A Good Film
Thanks god I did not grow up in this new generation because being a kid
is a hard thing to do nowadays. Kids have to worry about hanging with
the wrong crowd, drugs, gangs and kids having babies so it sucks being a
kid. And one thing for certain it does not matter what color you skin is
no matter what people may say about it.
The musical ensemble is set in an Atlanta hip-hip roller-skating rink.
T.I. will play Rashad, the head of a roller-skating team, while London
will play New-New, an employee at the rink who is in love with him. The
story is based on material by music producer Dallas Austin and T-Boz, a
member of the pop group TLC.
ATL was a pretty good drama and it does make one point is never judge a
book by its cover because what you think you know you are totally wrong.
The story itself was good granted you have seen this type of film many
times before.
But the acting was good much better than I thought it would be from a
young cast who one of them is a rapper turn movie star which I know we
have seen a lot of them lately. This time is T.I who plays Rashad who he
did a good job in his role. But it too soon to see if he is going to be
as good as Will Smith, Ice Cube and TV’s Ice T. The supporting cast was
also good in their roles.
The second part of the film that was good was the music I like the
soundtrack of the film a Rap soundtrack with some R&B which was a nice
touch. The only thing I can say bad about it is I discover one of the
key secrets in the film and I knew what was going to happen to one of
the main stars. Other than that ATL was a pretty good film with a ton of
movies opening this week this is one you should check out.
