A Film Review By Paul Perkins

One Film To Rule Them All

In 1994 there was a film that came out that became a cult hit and everyone loved it and mostly by people who work in the field the movie centers on. The films were called Clerks and it was a small film that had no names in it and was directed by a then small director name Kevin Smith.

However it was a cult hit and made Kevin Smith a household name. So it is now 10 years later and Kevin Smith has made a hit of great films, Dogma, Chasing Amy, Mallrats and Jay and Silent Bob Strikes Back. So he is going to go back to want made him famous the Quick Stop Mini Market.

Ten years ago best friends Dante Hicks (Brian O' Halloran) and Randal Graves (Jeff Anderson) were New Jersey mini-mall clerks still slacking off together in their early 20s. Now, Kevin Smith checks back into see what kind of changes have rocked their lives -- in work, romance and their eternally raucous life philosophy.

What he discovers is that never before have so many still done so little while having so much fun doing it. Now working in the fast-food universe, Dante and Randal have managed to maintain, and even hone, there in-your-face attitudes, agile skill with vulgarities and unbridled love of screwing with the customers. But they’re also faced with such shocking new prospects as marriage, leaving Jersey and finding real careers.

Clerks 2 was one funny and sick movie I couldn't not stop laughing. This film is way different from the first one it was more funny and sick then the first one. Kevin Smith is older now and it shows in this film he dives with some issues about love and gowning up. While keeping some of his younger self in the film like poking fun at some of the blockbusters of our time. Lords of the Rings, Starwars and the Oscars.

Grant this film is not for everyone there is a lot of foul laughing and sex talk, and there is also one screen involving a donkey. All the original cast is in this one with a new face Rosario Dawson who is gorgeous I could not stop watching her. I read in real life she is a big geek that she like comic books which makes her even more cool.

Overall Clerks 2 is a very funny film that should not be miss Esp. if your are a Kevin Smith fan.
