A Good Year
A Film Review By Paul

Just Like A Great Aged Bottle of Wine
Life is like a fine bottle of wine it get better with aged. I hope my
life getter better with ages but hey only time will tell if it does.
Movies as well are the same way, A Good Life is another great film from
director Ridley Scott and actor Russell Crowe who made another great
film called Gladiator.
The film is about failed London banker Max Skinner (Crowe) who moves to
Provence to tend a vineyard he inherited from his uncle, played by
Albert Finney. There he encounters Cotillard's character, a beautiful
California woman who says she is a long-lost cousin and lays claim to
the property.
Call me sappy or call me a sucker for love films but I really like these
types of film it makes me get spiders in my stomach because I like films
that center on characters that think his life is great until he see that
his life is horrible. This film has a great soundtrack that I could not
get some of the songs out of my head and god the scenery is outstanding
and beautiful and some great shots of the country. The acting was very
good one of Russell Crowe best picture and you could tell his passion in
the film.
The other main actors was also great in the film. Ridley Scott did an
outstanding job and this film is not like most of his others film so
when you walking into this theater think of a great love/coming of age
story with a lot of wine. I really fell in love with the music of the
film the soundtrack was outstanding and it makes me want to go out and
buy it. This film makes me wish I could go on vacation and take a trip
to the wine country and try some of the county best wines. Overall this
is a film that you can enjoy and relaxes to and enjoy everything the
film has to offer.
