A Film Review By Clyde Ayles

IT'S CHRISTMASTIME AGAIN

A lot of critics are tearing this film apart. Granted it is not a masterpiece nor is it meant to be. It seeks to be an amusing little Christmas film in the vains of "Jingle All The Way" and "Christmas With The Kranks". These were not great either. but they did entertain. DANNY DEVITO and MATTHEW BRODERICK are neighbers. Broderick has been in the hood for years and was always known as Mr. Christmas do to the fact that he always gather folk to go caroling and have little get togethers. But now Devito has moved in and decided to really light up his house. He has heard that if you go to a certain web on the computor and put in an address, you can see the house from outer space. This is his goal at first until he is confronted by Broderick. Now he seeks revenge. He goes to the extreme in a couple of scenes that are really far fetched but funny. After all, this is a movie and you can do anything in a movie. Both stars are their usual charming selfs and the rest of the cast comes through. KRISTIN DAVIES and KRISTIN CHENOWETH are the suffering wifes . No, This not "It's A Wonderful Life" or "Miracle On 34th Street" and it does not try to be. But it has it's moments.     SEE YA AT THE MOVIES   CLYDE
