A Film Review By Clyde Ayles

KITTY LITTER
The first Garfield movie was funny and clever.
JENNIFER LOVE HEWITT (who i met and adore) had a great role as as
Garfield's human friend. But part two, "A Tail Of Two Kitties" is a
bland sometimes amusing throw away film. BILL MURRAY returns as the
voice of the comic creation by Jim Davis. But even his droll lines
did not provoke many laughs from the audience I saw it with, which
consisted of about ten people. This time around, Garfield follows
his owner to England in hopes of stopping him from proposing to his
girlfriend (Jennifer Love Hewitt again, whose parts are so small,
she could have phoned them in. While in England, our cat and his
dog friend Odie visit all the sites of London with the usual lame
puns that you would expect. It is here that he is mistaken for a
large orange cat who is the mirror image of him. TIM CURRY provides
the voice here. But this cat is a royal prince named Prince. BILLY
CONNOLLY plays the three stooges like nephew who tries everything to
get rid of Prince so he can take over the castle that the royal cat
has just inhherited. Okay, there are a few funny scenes,
but not enough to carry the fim which was directed by TIM HILL
(Muppets From Spce). SEE YA AT THE MOVIES CLYDE
