A Film Review By Paul Perkins

For All The Eagles Fans

Everyone has dreams and sometimes dreams can be a reality, I wanted to be a film critic and now I am. Some people want to become big sports players like the one in this new film called Invincible.

Inspired by the true story of Vince Papale (Mark Wahlberg), a man with nothing to lose who ignored the staggering odds and made his dream come true. When the coach (Greg Kinnear) of Papale's beloved hometown football team hosted an unprecedented open tryout, the public consensus was that it was a waste of time -- no one good enough to play professional football was going to be found this way. Certainly no one like Papale -- a down-on-his-luck, 30 year-old, substitute teacher and part-time bartender who never even played college football. But against these odds, Papale made the team and soon found himself living every fan's fantasy -- moving from his cheap seats in the upper deck to standing on the field as a professional football player.

Since football season is about to start Hollywood has to bring out the football movies to capitalize on the season. This week is the Invincible and upcoming is the Rock film called Gridiron Gang. I am not a sport fan so when I see a sport movie I base it on the quality of the film. When it comes to any types of sports I know nothing about them. I like film that is base on a real life person in this case it Vince Papale .

The Story was good and esp. by Mark Wahlberg who has been come a good actor over the years you would never know he was a rap star when he started out. The story was good I like films that a dreamer get his wish and become a big star. The acting was very good esp. my Mark and Greg they was very good in their parts. The supporting cast was also good. This film was made in the Philadelphia area and was shot in the old football stadium. Any Eagle fans will like this film and anyone who loves football.

Overall I am keeping this review short, Invincible was a good sport movie it not better then Remember the Titans but it goes on the list of good sports movies.
