Guns + Action + Blood = An Outstanding  Mix

In 1980's there was a very popular cop show on the television it was called Miami Vice and it was a hit. Personally it was not my type of show so I really never watch it that much but a lot of people did.

So Hollywood  having nothing else to make they are starting to bring popular television show to the big screen. The next one getting the Hollywood treatment is Miami Vice and it directed by Michael Mann anyone who could make it a good film will be Michael Mann.

Miami Vice begins as Crockett and Tubbs learn that a high-level leak has led to the slaughter of two federal agents and the murder of an informant friend’s family. Pull into the case, the two detectives’ investigation takes them straight to the doorstep of vicious killers from the Aryan Brotherhood and a sophisticated network of globalize traffickers protected by world-class security.

Walking into Miami Vice I was saying to myself I hope this film is good, the only thing, it has  going for it is Jamie Foxx and Michael Mann. I don't think the new generation is going to know Miami Vice the TV show it's too old for them. However for any one like me who grew up in that era will know who Sonny” Rocket and Ricardo Tubs are.

The film was very good and very intense there was a lot of action screens and it was very violent. The story was very good and held my attention from start to finish. The Film Length was just right it was just over two hours and it did not have any dull moments. The acting was very good I thought Colin and Jamie did an outstanding job of playing the popular cops. The supporting cast was very good and for the guys there are some nice eye candy but these eye candy are tough and they are some of the strong characters in the film.

Overall I am keeping this review short Miami Vice is a very good action film that I never thought it would be a good as it was. Checking it today you will not be disappointed it worth every price of Admission price.
