A Film Review By Clyde Ayles

Cute

Teenager Viola Johnson  ( a very charming AMANDA BYNES) agrres to disgiuse herself as     her brother Sebastion (JAMES KIRK) so he can go to London to be part of the music scene. So  she enters his school and meets his roomate.Duke (CHANNING TATUM).But of course you know that she will fall in love with Duke.  But she can not let him or anyone know that she is really Viola and not Sebastion.  Meanwhile Duke is in love with Olivia (LAURA RAMSEY}.But just when things are starting to fall in place, Sebastion comes home early and upsets the apple cart. The whole movie runs smoothly and has some charming moments.  The idea is not new, see "One Of The Guys", but the cast pulls it off very well. They come across as very talented, unlike a lot of young stars of today,  see the recent invasion of horror movie remakes.   Amanda was there at the screening I attended and she was just as cute and charming in person as she is on the screen. ANDY FICKMAN directed  and did a fine job.      SEE YA AT THE MOVIES    Clyde
