Was Worth The Wait, An Outstanding Movie Experience

It's a bird, no It's a Plane no it Superman and he is back after 20 years and guess what it was worth the wait. The film is Superman Returns, a soaring new chapter in the saga of one of the world’s most beloved superhero. While an old enemy plot to render him powerless once and for all, Superman faces the heartbreaking realization that the woman he loves, Lois Lane, has moved on with her life. Or has she? Superman’s bittersweet return challenges him to bridge the distance between them while finding a place in a society that has learned to survive without him.

Well one of the most anticipated films of the year is out and it better then I thought it would be. Superman has been a long time in the making and it took the studio a long time to find someone who could fill Christopher Reeve shoes. Christopher is one of the most famous and like superman of all time. So what this film was greenlight they wanted to find a no name just like Christopher was when he got the part so many years ago.

The found him his name is Brandon Routh and he is not known in the film business so walking into the film there is a lot he has to prove to everyone who is a superman fan. And in my honest opinion, I think he did an outstanding job of playing the cape hero. He had the look, the talk and the charm that made Christopher such a big fan of the classic films. In some screen Brandon sound just like Christopher.

His acting ability was very good being a no name, I could not compare to any of his other films. However, if he keep up the great work he should be a great actor. The story was very good the idea of how superman disappear and come back after a long time gong and since the world change right in front of his eyes. The only thing that I can say bad about the story in some screens it was a little bit too long, but you overlooked at it because of the acting.

The special effect was outstanding and uses all the technology of this century, The supporting cast was very good esp by Kevin Spacey who was a great Lex Luther. What I like is how they made superman a little bit more human he get affected like we all do. And I like how there is a love element in this new version superman.

Overall Superman Returns were an outstanding superhero film hats of to Bryan Singer who did another great job of bring a big superhero to the big screen, his other two films were outstanding as well they was X-Men so keep up the good work Bryan. Everyone this is what great filmmaking and a summer blockbuster film is all about.
