A Film Review By Clyde Ayles

About now i am pretty sure that everyone knows the story of the Nativity, the birth of Jesus. It has been told in animation form, with puppets, and on t.v. and pictures. Now New Line Cinema has given us a big screen version that is well done and beautiful to look at. The story starts with the discovery that Mary (a very pretty KEISHA CASTLE-HUGHES) is with child. If her husband Joseph (OSCAR ISAAH) wants to acuse her of infidelity, she will be put away. This he refuses to do. Now King Herod learns of the coming birth of a Messiah who will introduce a new kingdom. He learns of this from three traveling wise men who are searchimg for a star that was fortold by an angel. Herod orders that all men should travel back to their place of birth so he can limit his search for this new king. Mary and Joseph travel to Betlahem.  Thus it is there where the baby Jesus is born.                                                     The film is a scenic treasure. The acting is very well done. You will be moved.       SEE YA AT THE MOVIES    CLYDE
