Funny But A Little Slow

One of my favorite TV Show beside In Living Color was Three Company that was a very funny show and was every guy fantasy to live with two girls. Take that idea but minus one female put in a best friend and make the two a married couple and you got You Me and Dupree.

Well the summer is almost over there is only a month and a half and all the big blockbuster are at the movie theater there is a lot of other films coming out the rest of the summer but I don't think anyone will top Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Man's Chest. So now we have some other films that will sneak by in the theater and hopefully will rank in some of those summer dollars.

The first one up to bat is You Me and Dupree and it a comedy that stars one half of last year hit called Wedding crashers his name is Owen Wilson and this time he is teaming up with Matt Dillion and the all ways beautiful and looks just like her mother Kate Hudson (Goldie Hawn is Her Mother).

In You, Me and Dupree, Carl and Molly have found the one unfortunate hitch in their perfectly constructed newly wedded world: Dupree. A slacker with the soul of a poet, Dupree just can’t seem to catch a break from “The Man.” When he takes a week off to best-man Carl and Molly’s marriage in Hawaii, Dupree gets the unceremonious heave-ho from his boss. Now jobless, car-less and evicted from the cot at his favorite watering hole, he just needs to crash with the Petersons for a couple of days; okay, maybe a month or so...

This film is a romantic comedy with some potty humor thrown in. The idea of the film you may be saying is haven't I seen this type of film many times before? You will be right but sometimes when the right actors are playing the part it makes it right. The only thing that hurts this film is some of the screens are a little drawn out and it makes the films seems longer then it is.

Anyone who is looking for this to be like Wedding Crashers think again this is not like that film. Overall if you like the actors and like a romantic comedy type of film then You Me and Dupree is your type of film.
