300 Review
A Film Review By Paul Perkins
A Great Outstanding Motion Picture On Every Level
There comes a time when a film comes along that you will go cool and a film that you will never forget and you will leave the theater saying I got my money worth. Well 300 is that film “300” is a ferocious retelling of the ancient Battle of Thermopylae in which King Leonidas (Gerard Butler) and 300 Spartans fought to the death against Xerxes and his massive Persian army. Facing insurmountable odds, their valor and sacrifice inspire all of Greece to unite against their Persian enemy, drawing a line in the sand for democracy. 300 was one of the best film I have seen this year and ranks up there were some of the best of all time. I could not stop watching the screen I seen this film twice once when I review it and opening day at the Imax theater to watch it on the biggest screen. This film had everything a great story where you can not keep you eyes off the screen. The film did not drag at all and I did not see anything wrong with the story of the film. The film is from the work of graphic novelist Frank Miller who also created another outstand motion picture called Sin City who was on my top ten for that year.
The cinephotography was also very good some of the screens where
breathtaking that look so great on the big screen. The acting was also very good
everyone in the film did an outstanding job and help to make this a film that
you will never forget. For fans who like action there is a lot of action in this
film and there is also a lot of blood not as much as there was in Sin City
Overall 300 was one film that was so good I had to see it twice and I want to see it again. This film is worth every penny of the admission price you don't want to miss this film check it out today.
