Blades of Glory A Film Review By Paul Perkins Film Info Trailers, Pictures, etc Click Here
You Will Get Chills of Laugher First We Had Randy Savage and Hulk Hogan teaming us in the world of professional wrestling. Then there was Gold Dust and Booker T and Now we have a new tag team group but it not in the ring. But in the ice skating ring for Chazz Michael Michaels (Will Ferrell) and Jimmy MacElroy (Jon Heder) who go ballistic in an embarrassing, no-holds-barred fight at the World Championships, they are stripped of their gold medals and banned from the sport for life. Now, three-and-a-half years on, they've found a loophole that will allow them to compete: if they can put aside their differences, they can skate together - in pairs' figure skating.
Will Farrell is the type of actor that you either will love him or hate him, some times he is very funny like in Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby and Stanger Than Fiction and then sometimes he is not like in Drowning Mona. So when I seen the trailer for this film I was saying to myself this is either going to be great or stupid. Well it a little of both and that what makes the film fun and funny to watch on the big screen. Jon Heder is the second pair of the team since he breakout performance in Napoleon Dynamite he has been in some good film there has not been a film he been outstanding in since Napoleon Dynamite. This film was very funny with some very funny and hard to watch scenes because of the themes of the film.
The acting was pretty good by the two main stars of the film they work pretty good together and nether over did it on the comedy of the film. The supporting cast was also pretty good esp. by the two actor Amy Poehler, Will Arnett who played brother and sister in the film (They are Husband and Wife in real life). Everyone seem to work great together and made the film very funny and enjoyable. Overall if you are looking for a film to make you laugh then look no further than Blades of Glory
.
