A Neighbor From Hell
Their was a classic director many years ago when you seen one of his films you know you are going to watch a great film he has made some of our classic films like Psycho, Birds and Rear Window His name was Alfred Hitchcock. So directors over the years make their own Hitchcock film like Coppola made The Conversation, Antonioni made Blow Up and now D.J. Caruso his film is another Hitchcock like film called Disturbia.
For Kale (Shia LaBeouf) he get to do what every kid in American would love to do stay home play video game , surf the net, eat junk food and watch TV all day. The only problem is he is not allowed to leave his house because his is under house arrest for three months. He cannot step foot over 100 foot from the house or he will go directly to jail. So he has a lot of free time on his hands so he start to spy on his neighbors, he think one of his neighbor is a serial killer as him and his friends try to find out the truth behind his next store neighbor as it going to be a long three months.
Disturbia was a good suspense film it did drag a little bit in the beginning but when the story start to get it speed it then go into overdrive as it then does not let up until the end of the film. This film had one of the most brutal accident scene ever filmed. When I was watching the film I almost choke on my nachos when I seen it al I can say it thank god I did not get hurt in my accident I had couple of months ago.
The acting was pretty good by the main stars of the film, Shia will be seen next in one of the big box office film of the summer and one of my all-time favorite toy when I just a little kid called transformers. Also Disturbia also had David Morse who also was good in his role as the bad neighbor. The film once the film started to get rolling it keep going at a fast pace it just talk a little to get going. Overall Disturbia was a pretty good suspense film just don't get distracted from the beginning it will make up at the end.
