For The Mother, Daughters and Granddaughters of the World

Well one of the big films of the summer is out so this is a bye week with nothing really big coming out in the multiplexes you may think 28 weeks later is  a big summer film but I don' think it will be a big hit. So this week we have some less in the spotlight films this one is for the mother, daughters and granddaughters it is called Georgia Rule. The film centers Three generations of top actresses unite in a film about the power of redemption, freedom in forgiveness and the unbreakable bonds of motherhood -- Georgia Rule. And in this family, attitude doesn't skip a generation.

Rebellious teenager Rachel (Lindsay Lohan, Mean Girls, A Prairie Home Companion) screams, swears, drinks, says whatever is on her mind and is just generally uncontrollable. With her latest car crash, Rachel has broken the final rule in mom Lilly's (Golden Globe winner Felicity Huffman, Transamerica, television's Desperate Housewives) San Francisco home. With nowhere else to take the impulsive and rambunctious girl, Lilly hauls her daughter to the one place she swore she'd never return...her own mother's Idaho home.

Georgia Rule was a good chick flick film this is defiantly for the ladies the only thing that the men will like about this film is how Lindsay Lohan look and acts in this film which she looks really hot in this film. The story itself was ok nothing new that we haven't seen before in this type of chick flick film but want made this film watchable was the acting. Every one in the film including Lindsay was very good in their role. I was more surprise by Lindsay not just being eye candy in this film she acted very well and held up great next to Jane Fonda and Felicity Huffman.

This film has a lot of foul language so if that offend you then hold you ears but if you could overlook that there is some good laughs and also a good message in this film. I think this is a film that you can take you and your daughter and granddaughter to  just make sure they are old enough this film is rated R because of the language. The film did not get boring at all but I think they could have cut a little bit of the film and still made the point they were trying to make.

Overall even so you have seen this type of film before go because of the acting everyone was great in the film and it made the film watchable.
