Well this has been a great week for movie this is the second film I
have given 5 stars to I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry and This Great
Film called Hairspray. Hairspray is Tracy Turnblad, a big girl with big
hair and an even bigger heart, has only one passion--dancing. Her dream
is to appear on "The Corny Collins Show," Baltimore's hippest dance
party on TV. Tracy seems a natural fit for the show except for one
not-so-little problem--she doesn't fit in. Her plus-sized figure has
always set her apart from the cool crowd, which she is reminded of by
her loving but overly protective plus-sized mother, Edna.
Hairspray was one hell of a fun movie I could not stop clapping and
singing to the beat. This is the type of film you cannot stay in your
seat you have to jump up and start to dance. and trust me if you don't
dance to this movie than you need not see any other musical again. Here
are some good points and bad points.
Good Points
The Music of the film was outstanding I like every song on the
cd I wanted to get up and dance to every song.
I like the story which is a remake of a older film the other
film came out in the 80's I have never seen it but after seeing this
fine motion picture I may have to now. The story had everything a
great story has it made you feel for each and every character.
The acting was outstanding by each and every actor and actress.
The one who stood out the most was the new star of the film she did
an great job. She too new to see if she going to be a great actress
or a so-so actress. Only time will tell let see.
The film did not drag at all and did not once get borning.
There are no Bad Points.
Overall I am keeping this review short, If you are looking for a good
feel good movie that you can have a great time at the theater and a film
with a great story and great music then look no further than Hairspray.
