This week is one great week for films there are two outstanding films that I gave 5 stars. Hairspray and the this film call I Pronounce You Chuck & Larry this film is about Chuck Ford (Adam Sandler) and Larry Allensworth (Kevin James) are the pride of their fire station: two guy's guys always side-by-side and willing to do anything for each other. Salt-of-the-earth widower Larry wants just one thing: to protect his family. His buddy Chuck also wants one thing: to enjoy the single life.

Grateful Chuck owes Larry for saving his life in a fire, and Larry calls in that favor big time when civic red tape prevents him from naming his own two kids as his life insurance beneficiaries. All that Chuck has to do is claim to be Larry's domestic partner on some city forms. Easy. Nobody will ever know.

When I saw the trailer for this film I was saying to my self I hope the trailer does not give away all the funny parts of the film and I hope the film don't stink. I seen the trailer I million times and to be hones the Jessica Biel scene was one of the best scene in the trailer so I wash thinking I hope this film is good. Guess what? The film was outstanding one of the best comedies of the past couple of year.

This is the type of film that could offend some people to be honest this film should not offend any one who is a same sex relationship. I think the only people who will get offend will be the people who don't  believe in same sex relationship. The people who get offend stop getting offend you have the right to believe what you want to believe in but don't treat anyone who don't believe what you believe in bad. Enough with the speech on to the movie.

This film was so funny I could not stop laughing. Here are some good and bad points of the films.

Good Points

  1. The idea of the story was very funny from the beginning of the film until the final credits started to roll. I could not stop laughing. What was nice about this film beside the laugher is the meaning of the film. They do not make fun of the topic they tell a story of how people judge them and how to overcome the hatred they got in this film.
  2. The cast was outstanding I don't think anyone else could have played a better role as the two main stars in the film. They worked great together and you feel for what they are going thru. It does ask the question what would you do for your best friend if he or she was in trouble?
  3. For all the guys there is a lot of eye candy esp. by the hooters girls and of course Jessica Biel she has one of the hottest scene I have ever seen in the history of movie trailers. And the scene with the cat suit everyone ask me if she hotter in the cat suit then Halle berry. The answer is no Halle is better in a cat suit but Jessica is a close second.
  4. The film did not drag at all and the film jokes did not get played out. Usually with this type of comedy they use the jokes over and over again and it get a little played out. But in this film they do not.
  5. There is a lot of cameos in the film and some of they are really funny and place at the right place in the movie.
  6. Ving Rhames has one of the funniest scenes in the film I could not stop laughing at his scene.

Bad Points

Overall I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry was one of the funniest films of the year and the film is worth every star I gave it. If you are looking for a film to make you laugh so much you stomach will hurt this is the film for you.
