Third Time Is Not The Charm
The Summer is among us and the sequels are all around us
Spiderman 3, Hostel 2, Shrek 3 and now Ocean Thirteen which is the third film in
the series. The film centers on Danny Ocean (George
Clooney) and the gang would have only one
reason to pull off their most ambitious and riskiest casino heist -- to defend
one of their own. But they're going to need more than luck on their side to
break The Bank.
Ruthless casino owner Willy Bank (Al Pacino) never imagined that the odds were
against him when he double-crossed Danny Ocean's friend and mentor Reuben
Tishkoff (Elliott Gould), putting the distraught Reuben in a hospital bed in
critical condition.
But Bank miscalculated...badly. He may have taken down one of the original
Ocean's
eleven,
but he left the others standing and, worse for him, gave them a shared purpose:
to take Bank down on the night of what should be his greatest triumph - the
grand opening of his new casino, appropriately named The Bank.
So walking into Ocean Thirteen what can you expect here is some good and bad points of the film our top five (Which is a new Feature Here at The King's Room)
What I Like About Ocean Thirteen
The Acting: this is the type of film you don't really go for the story even so the story is the big part of the film. The actor make the film there are a ton of A List actor
There are some funny screens in the film by all the main characters in the film.
The Scenery was good and the location was very good and help the look of the film.
The Idea of the film was good and the cast all had good chemistry together.
What I Did Not Like About The Film.
The story was very slow there was times in the film I was think the film need to go somewhere and something need to happen on the screen. It was just so slow which is should not be.
The Film was just a tad bit too long they could have center more on the story and less on the sub plots.
The film was a tad bit disappointing I thought for a big name cast they would center better on the story and stop with all the side stuff.
I wish they did not center on the actor more then the story it would be much better.
This film got 3 1/2 only because of the actors it would got a better rating if the film had some more depth to it.
Overall Oceans Thirteen was an ok sequel they could have done a better job in the film.
