A Perfect Shot

A Like watching films that is made near my home town so when one comes out I have to see it. Shooter was film mostly in Philadelphia and it so cool to see some of our landmarks in the film. Some Director when you see there name attracted to a film you know you are in for a ride of your life. Like Jerry Bruckheimer when his logo appears you know that you stuff is going to be blow up. Another great direct is Antoine Fuqua who has some great films under his belt like Training Day, Tears of the Sun, King Arthur and now Shooter.

For former Mainer Bob Lee Swagger (Mark Wahlberg) who was a scout sniper and disgruntled American hero who thought he has walked away from the job forever after a devastating betrayal. He kept himself hiding in a remote cabin he thought no one could find him but his was wrong. Colonel Isaac Johnson (Danny Glover) tells him his country needs him to help find an assassin who is trying to kill the Present of the United States. He doesn't want to but does help then but what he doesn't know it a cover up to frame him as the assassin so he must try to find out who set him up and clear his name.

Shooter was one none stop movie I felt I was on a bus without any brakes and the bus is going crazy trying not to crash. I remember seeing this picture filming in Philly and wonder would it be any good. Well after seeing this film I like it lot it was very good. The story was pretty good of course some elements of the story was done before but this time the director told it in a different light. The acting was very good by all the main players of the film. Everyone stand there own and no one was better then anyone else. The sniper scenes were incredible and very cool.

The film is about 2 1/2 hours and to be honest the film did not drag at all and held my attention from start to finish. The director did an outstanding job of telling the story and he can add this to one of his best film he every did. The action scene were very intense and like I said before get ready for a ride of your life. Overall Shooter is a film you don't want to miss with all the films coming out this week 6 films to be precise make sure this is one of them.
