A Good Horror Film

A Good Horror film is hard to find when a good one comes out like Saw, there is all ways a bad one comes along See No Evil so when I find one that is good I have to talk about it. The Reaping is one of those rare horror film that is good. The films centers on a former Christian missionary who lost her faith after her family was tragically killed, and has since become a world renowned expert in disproving religious phenomena. But when she investigates a small Louisiana town that is suffering from what appear to be the Biblical plagues, she realizes that science cannot explain what is happening and she must regain her faith to combat the dark forces threatening the community.

I love film that has Biblical themes because I like to see how people react to these types of films. The story was good I like the idea of the film and the Biblical meaning of the film either you believe in god or you don't we all are god children and this film center on the 10 Biblical plagues that the bible talks about. The film tells about each plague and why they happen. This film has some great jumping moments, I almost choke on the nachos I was eating I did not see some of the moments coming it just happen.

The story was good it did drag a little but the idea of the film and some of the chilling moments made up for the drag and the acting was very good esp. by Hillary Swank who has become a great actress when she is in a film you know it going to be good her last film this year was Freedom Writers. The special effects was ok nothing great but still help to make it a good film.

The other actors in the film was also good in there roles the director made this film very creep and chilling and good like I said before there has not been good horror films this year so seeing this film and it was good is like going to the casino and getting 777 at the slots so don't miss this good horror check it out today.
